WHIRL Team Profile: Data Doers

This team is designing a tool that will support students' self-monitoring of data collection activities in the context of their investigations. Specifically, it will scaffold students in making predictions about data values, checking data (both for accuracy and against students' own predictions), and sharing data across groups. The key need teachers see this tool addressing is helping students become mindful in the context of their data collection activities, so that errors in overall research results are prevented or made visible to both students and teachers.
